Aradia has never been to anything like this before. It's so expensive, and so pointless. Just look at the blonde woman over there. She looks so bored. Boredom is the worst, Aradia thinks. She's spent years being able to feel nothing but apathy, and it was torture. The human with the nice watch shouldn't have to meet the same fate, even if it is only for a few hours. Still, when you get right down to it, years and hours aren't much different. It's how you experience them that matters.
