(INFORMATION) GENETIC ALTERING
Genetic Altering or Alterations are the catch-all term for any genetic modifications made to the character's DNA. These are basically enhancements a player can have for their characters to make them more adept when it comes to EXPLORATIONS, COMBAT or even for daily life around The Sanctum with the dual bonus of assisting in genetic research that may lead to a cure or greater alterations in the future. Your character doesn't necessarily have to work in a lab setting or be a part of the militia to receive genetic alterations. There are a few guidelines to availing genetic alterations. » Your character is eligible for one alteration once per month (IRL). LEVEL ONE RESEARCH ALTERATIONS » ACCELERATED HEALING. Injuries heal at an accelerated rate of 5%. Medical attention is still required for proper healing and the prevention of infection or inflammation. » APTITUDE TRANSFERENCE TIER ONE. A subject's aptitudes and skills can be transferred at a rate of 1% to 25% through physical contact. The greater the area of skin to skin contact, the more successful the temporary transference. » PERSONAL SALINITY AWARENESS. The subject gains the ability to accurately monitor the body’s salinity. » ELECTROSTATIC GENERATION. The subject gains the ability to generate enough static electricity to cause clothing, balloons, and small felines to stick to them. Hair is perpetually frizzed while generating said electricity. LEVEL TWO RESEARCH ALTERATIONS » ACCELERATED HEALING TIER TWO. Injuries heal at an accelerated rate of 15%. Medical attention is still required for proper healing and the prevention of infection or inflammation, but the body is resistant to low level infections and mild illnesses. » APTITUDE TRANSFERENCE TIER TWO. A subject's aptitudes and skills can be transferred at a rate of 5% to 35% through physical contact. The greater the area of skin to skin contact, the more successful the temporary transference. » PERSONAL GLUCOSE AWARENESS. The subject gains the ability to accurately monitor the body’s glucose levels as well as the body's salinity. » ELECTROSTATIC GENERATION TIER TWO. The subject gains the ability to generate enough static electricity to cause a small arc or short electronics smaller than a dime. Hair is perpetually frizzed while generating said electricity. » WI-FI AWARENESS AND GENERATION. The subject gains the ability to monitor the levels of WiFi traffic and transmission as well as generate mild bursts of inarticulate and incoherent radio waves that can ping or scramble a network transmission or provide generalized connectivity for 10 seconds. » PHEROMONE SECRETION. The subject gains the ability to put out pheromones that make people slightly more confident and calm, buffing their natural aptitudes about 10% in a 5 foot diameter.
